Format
The formats quoted here are DIN formats and also the corresponding sizes in mm. If the figures are in mm only, the format is not a DIN format. The formats of products which undergo later processing are always the formats of the end product. If we take the example of an 8-page flyer with a DIN A6 format, this means the printed, folded flyer is in DIN A6.
Material
As far as the paper types are concerned, the details normally state whether the paper is matt or glossy and how thick it is. The area weight of a paper type definitely has an effect on how it is printed since, for example in the case of thin paper types, if the printing is on both sides the reverse may be visible through the paper. For certain types of printing we only offer you those paper weight classes which are practical (for example so that the paper does not break during processing). As a rule of thumb we can say that standard copier paper has an are weight of 80 g, posters are generally 135 g and a standard postcard is 300 g. FOREX® is a slightly foamed, closed-cell rigid foam panel with a particularly fine cell, homogeneous structure and a silk matt finish and it is the panel used for signs, exhibition stands and displays with fire safety class B1. Unoated Lenticular foil may be best used for prints that should be illuminated from the back, coated foil is for non-transparent images.
